Brand Profile

Define how Cite AI understands your brand across prompts, competitors, and visibility tracking.

Your Brand Profile helps Cite AI understand:

  • what your company does
  • who your audience is
  • what products or services you offer
  • and how your brand should be positioned across AI-generated responses

This profile powers:

  • prompt suggestions
  • topic generation
  • competitor recommendations
  • and visibility analysis

A well-defined Brand Profile leads to more relevant tracking and better insights.

What Is a Brand Profile?

When you connect your website to Cite AI, the platform automatically analyzes your domain to generate an initial understanding of your business.

This includes:

  • your company identity
  • market positioning
  • products or services
  • target audience
  • and industry context

This information becomes your Brand Profile.

Your Brand Profile acts as the foundation for how Cite AI structures your visibility tracking experience.

Where to Access Your Brand Profile

Your Brand Profile appears in two places:

During Setup

After connecting your domain, Cite AI generates a suggested Brand Profile during onboarding.

This gives you the opportunity to:

  • review extracted information
  • correct inaccuracies
  • and refine your tracking setup before prompts are created

Inside Project Settings

You can update your Brand Profile anytime from the Project section in the sidebar.

Saving changes automatically refreshes:
