Agent Analytics
Upload your product catalog to enable product-level AI Shopping tracking. Once your catalog is connected, Cite AI monitors how individual products appear across AI-generated shopping recommendations, identifies competing products, and tracks visibility trends over time.
Your uploaded catalog powers detailed product analytics, making it possible to measure AI recommendation performance for every product, not just your brand as a whole.
Before product tracking can begin, Cite AI needs information about the products you want to monitor, including their names, brand, and categories.
You can import your catalog using any of the following methods:
Connect your Shopify storefront by entering your store URL. Cite AI automatically imports your published products without requiring a file upload.
Upload a CSV file containing your product catalog. This option works for any ecommerce platform and is recommended for custom catalogs.
Import an existing Google Merchant Center feed to quickly sync your product information.
Regardless of the import method, all products are added to your catalog and become available throughout AI Shopping.
Your CSV should contain one product per row.

Providing complete product information improves product matching and reporting accuracy.
Categories are particularly important, as they power product organization, filtering, and category-level insights throughout AI Shopping.
After your catalog is uploaded, Cite AI processes your products in the background.
As product matching completes, you’ll begin seeing:
Historical AI conversations are also analyzed, allowing insights to populate without waiting for entirely new tracking runs.
Your product catalog can be updated at any time.
You can:
Multiple uploads are merged into a single catalog, making it easy to expand product tracking over time.
AI Shopping offers two ways to explore product data.
Displays only the products you’ve uploaded.
Use this view to monitor the performance of your own catalog and measure AI visibility for products you actively sell.
Displays every product Cite AI identifies across tracked AI shopping conversations, including competitor products.
This view helps you:
Even without uploading a catalog, All Products provides valuable insights into the products AI models recommend most frequently.
During import, Cite AI automatically builds a category structure from your product data.
Review and adjust categories before completing the upload to ensure products are organized correctly.
Categories are used throughout AI Shopping for:
A well-organized category structure makes it easier to analyze product performance across different product lines.
Products can be removed from your catalog at any time.
Removing a product only affects My Catalog. Products that continue appearing in tracked AI conversations remain visible under All Products, allowing you to continue monitoring competitor activity and overall market trends.
Your AI Shopping insights continuously update as new AI conversations are tracked, helping you measure how product visibility changes over time.
